A North Texas native, Steven graduated from the University of Dallas with a degree in English and previously served as director of communications for the Dallas County Medical Society and as managing editor of the Dallas Medical Journal. More recently, he spent time managing and creating digital marketing content for brands like Mattress Firm, Chick-fil-a, and a series of ecommerce startups. As a life-long storyteller, Steven is fascinated by the process of using myriad digital tools — from native placements to search and social to in-depth owned media platforms — to build a long-lasting connection between brands and their audiences.
If he isn’t behind his desk, Steven is probably trying to chase down one of his 3 young sons or strumming a 6-string banjo. He enjoys reading contemporary literary fiction and being outside, but both of those interests are regularly interrupted by his crippling addiction to Twitter.
