Spine Team Texas is a large practice and well-established in North Texas. When they came to RUNNER, their website was not well optimized for SEO or for mobile devices, and upon analysis of the traffic, we found that most search engine traffic was only for their brand name. In addition, their digital advertising on Google and Facebook was not well optimized.
They needed to redesign the site with an eye towards SEO, but they also wanted to better tell the story of their unique, multi-disciplinary approach to spine care.
Spine Team Texas was looking for a different kind of agency partner that could not only help build a new site, but that would feel like an extension of their own marketing team. In addition, RUNNER’s deep experience with other Spine & Orthopedic practices was a great fit to provide further strategic recommendations.

Seeking a Strategic Marketing Partner
RUNNER began by clearly defining Spine Team Texas’ brand positioning. Unlike other practices, they offer a full “contiuum of care” from pain management to surgery and physical therapy. All the spine experts you need under a single roof.
RUNNER analyzed the website and identified which content could be re-used and which content needed to be updated. RUNNER medical marketing experts on the team then revised the website structure, created content and worked with design and development teams to bring the site to life.
After launching the site, RUNNER created a comprehensive content marketing strategy, focused on creating blogs targeting priority keywords for SEO.
RUNNER also optimized digital advertising efforts on both Google and Facebook. Ad campaigns from the previous agency were too broadly targeted – we leveraged our deep experience in Spine & Orthopedics to focus on the keywords we know will result in new patient OVs.
Lastly, as our relationship matured, we added our Front Office Helper – a HIPAA compliant CRM to provide more insight into how new patient leads are being handled, and to better nurture them into office visits.
The result of our approach is clear. Spine Team Texas has grown over the tenure of our relationship from 6 locations and 30 providers to now 10 locations and over 50 providers. We have redesigned our site twice and increased investment in digital advertising over time.
